This apartment is in excellent condition and is equipped to the highest standard. It has a very large south facing sunroof terrace with lovely views of the bay and the mountains furnished with sun loungers and a six seater al fresco dining table and chairs. There is also a pergola providing some shade and a BBQ. Patio doors lead from a balcony and inside there is air conditioning or heating to the sitting room and English TV stations via satellite channels,including a DVD player with a small selection of DVDs and CDs for your use. The hallway contains a variety of paper backs in English that you are welcome to peruse and a large mirror. The kitchen contains a full range of appliances including a washing machine, a built in full cooker and extractor hood, a tall fridge/freezer, the hot water boiler and a range of cupboards. Additionally you will find a microwave oven, 4 slice toaster plus ironing board,iron and crockery/ glassware/cutlery etc. The double bedroom with it's circular fan has a built in wardrobe, a large mirror over a chest of drawers and bedside table and rugs. The smaller bedroom has a circular fan,two fullsize single beds,a tall chest of drawers and bedside table and rugs with hanging space behind the door. For those visiting in winter both bedroms have an oil filled radiator. The modern bathroom has a large double shower and a heated towel rail. The apartment block is only 2 floors,this apartment is on the top floor and has a lift that goes down to the ground floor or garage there is a parking bay. Please note the roof terrace is reached by a staircase. The communal pool is kidney shaped and regularly maintained.The town beach is five minute stroll away where there are also lovely palm trees and a walkway with bars and restaurants which brings you through to the port and the new marina which nestles below the Lighthouse. The town beach is one of the nicest in the region although there are plenty of beaches locally to choose from. The costa calida is one of the healthiest places to live and even in the winter months can be warm enough to sunbathe. Consequently this is a well kept spanish secret being popular with many families for their summer break. The area is predominently food growing so is not an expensive place to holiday. This apartment is situated within even walking distance to a supermarket (others have an incline)and welcoming bars serving good food. On Sundays you have the large outdoor market which is well worth a visit.You can relax here or do something energetic it's up to you. Quieter in the winter months it thrives in the summer. The nearest airport is San Javier known as Murcia airport and is 45 minutes away just near Cartagena & La Manga also Alicante is 90 minutes away. Cheap flights can be found from all over th UK. Car hire from the airports is roughly �10 per day and worth considering if you want to travel up or down the coast to enjoy other tourist attractions such as caves, zoos or cowboy shows. Or, if preferred, we can arrange for you to be collected from the airport, price on request.
