Our villa 'Casa De Las Cinco Olivos' is set on the prestigious Monte Pego urbanization which is 70% residential. This area is famous for oranges grown in the valleys, also cherries and almonds which are cultivated higher up in the mountains. The World Heath Organisation state that the local climate is one of the best in the world and this is easy to believe as you relax by the pool during the day, and then take in the quite starlit evenings. Dine on the terrace by the floodlit pool as you gaze down the valley at the small, delightful, illuminated churches. Dramatic mountain scenery in the distance with constantly changing colours dependent on the time of day and elevation of the sun. Mountain goats and sheep bells break the quite and the occasional eagle soars overhead. The drive is bordered by the five olive trees that give the villa it's name, and takes you right to the door for easy access. There are a variety of fruit trees including oranges, lemon, lime, pomegranate, fig and grape. The turquoise pool is private with Roman steps at the shallow end.
For the more adventurous, there are the attractions of the varied, delightful restaurants and tapas bars in the town or marina area of Denia, in Pego town and the many surrounding villages.
Why not go and experience the beautiful city of Valencia for a memorable excursion on the inexpensive train?
There are many restaurants in the area and people are only to happy to give you recommendations if asked. Go to the local weekly markets in Pego and savour the Spanish cultural experience of the local fiestas that occur throughout the year. Great safe beaches nearby for family days out within 10-20 mins drive.
The villa is set in 1,500 sq m of landscaped traditional terraced gardens. The terrace and pool have uninterrupted sunshine from dawn till dusk and the outside dining area is shaded being situated in the arched porch.
There is a luxurious master bedroom with en-suite wet room and air conditioning. There are two twin bedrooms, a bathroom, large dining room with high beamed ceiling, a sunken circular lounge with log burner for the 'cooler' months and a fully equipped white and stainless steel kitchen with black granite work surfaces.
All the bedrooms, and the lounge, have ceiling fans and the bedrooms are fitted with fly screens. All bedrooms have a double fitted wardrobe. The villa has rustic floor tiles throughout.
