Boğaziçi is a steadily growing community and is central to the Tuzla region.The Turquoise Bay complex is the only central development located on the beachfront in the Tuzla area of the Bodrum Peninsula. The area is famous for its nature reserve, where the salt water lake houses thousands of beautiful pink flamingos during the months of October to April. The idyllic village of Boğaziçi is a 10 minute walk along the beach and you will find everything you need there. There are 3 or 4 small shops and a new supermarket, 2011 for all your daily requirements, a very traditional café where you can sit and watch the small fishing boats whilst drinking Turkish tea and a host of very traditional fish restaurants, meat, chicken and pizza are also available from most menus.
