On the outskirts of the small market town of Órgiva (15 mins walk), in an area almost untouched by development, Cortijo La Viana is one of the most seductive holiday properties anywhere. Surrounded by thousand-year-old olive trees, this delightful, traditionally styled property plus a superb swimming pool, with high mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop, offers you one of the most enticing retreats imaginable. The peace and tranquility are enchanting. The area is paradise for hill walkers, and there is also horse riding available, and paragliding too. A visit to the tiny whitewashed villages in the mountains is a must. We are half an hour from the coast and an hour from the magical city of Granada with its remarkable Alhambra palace. Then again you may just want to spend your time lazing by the pool, soaking up the sun! If you don´t fancy cooking, in Orgiva there is a good selection of bars and restaurants, and there are places to eat just out just a few minutes walk away.
