Welcome to El Balcon, an Andalucian country house apartment situated in the beautiful tranquil village of Acequias, nestling in the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada, just 20 minutes from Granada and 30 minutes from the Costa Tropical.

El Balcon is a spacious and well appointed one bedroom apartment which occupies the ground floor of the west wing of Casa Tia Maria (see photo from the swimming pool of the gardens and Tia Maria). The grounds and pool are there for the enjoyment of guests, the pool being open from Easter to the end of October.

The apartment has a large balcony overlooking the garden just through from the kitchen where many guests spend much of the day reading, watching the world go by, eating and drinking.

The bedroom is furnished with a pine double bed, wardrobe, dressing table etc. and the large bathroom includes shower/bath, washbasin, W.C. and washing machine.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave cooker, gas hob, gas oven and electric grill.

The apartment is centrally heated, with the heating turned on mornings and evenings between November and Easter. Like many Sierra Nevada villages, the altitude of Acequias (nearly 3,000 feet above sea level) can mean lower night-time temperatures in the winter.
