Calpe is a traditional Spanish town with many excellent shops, restaurants and bars. It has wonderful white sandy beaches either side of the Penon de Ifach which is now a nature reserve, you will also see the pink flamingos feeding in the salt lake close by. Enjoy a walk around the old town of Calpe, with its winding streets, cosy bars and fine restaurants.

Well worth a visit - just across the road from the apartment, are the fish restaurants in the port, where the catch of the day is displayed to tempt you inside.

Visit the lovely costal resorts of Altea, Moraira, Javea & Denia, or take a drive inland to visit the beautifully preserved village of Guadalest up in the mountains and enjoy the fabulous views. For the young and the young at heart, there is the Terra Mitica Theme Park and the Auqalandia Water Park, also Mundomar sea world park in Benidorm.
