When we first walked through the door we knew La Coqueta was something special. La Coqueta is one of the oldest houses in the area and it has its history. a history that is recorded in the journals of the Antequera Comarca.


Carefully and lovingly restored La Coqueta retains many traditional features. Wood beamed ceilings, thick stone walls, floors of traditional tile, stone and cobble. Low, old oak doors swing on primitive wooden hinges, La Coqueta’s charm is expressed by its rural simplicity.


La Coqueta can be let as one four bedroomed house, or divided to provide two completely private two bedroomed houses. As one house it’s a ideal holiday rental for two families (or groups). You can each have your own house, space and privacy, joining in together as the mood takes you.


Renting the whole house will give you 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms a dinning room and a dining area. Two of the bedrooms are double bedrooms, one is a twin and the last is a most delightful and unusual bunk-bedded room, children love it.


There are two patios, one serves the front house and the other the rear. The back patio enjoys the shade of an old Spanish Oak tree and along with the pool area is circled by a high white-washed garden wall. The pool is 6m x 4m.


One of the benefits La Coqueta has to offer is its ease of access and closeness to the local village, Villanueva Del Trabuco. La Coqueta is an easy 45 minute drive on good roads from Malaga to the house.


La Coqueta is also perfectly placed for touring Andalucia with many attractions and beauty spots all within easy striking distance.
