This is a privately-owned, recently re-furbished, beautiful ground floor apartment in a small, established, quiet neighborhood in the exclusive La Parata area of Mojacar on the Almeria coast in southeast Spain.

The apartment has a split air conditioning and heating unit in the living room, making it ideal for year-round rental. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a brand new double bed and one with brand new twin beds (both purchased in 2005), lots of built-in closet space and double-folding patio doors. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan.

There are two renovated and fully equipped bathrooms; one has a brand new glassed-in shower cubicle while the second has a large and comfortable bath-tub with shower head.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, including a full-size oven, hob, micro-wave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator with freezer compartment, with all the cutlery, pots and pans, mugs, glasses and dishes that will help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

A large, sunny living room is equipped with satellite TV and DVD player giving you access to EU programs and news. There is also a CD/radio player for your enjoyment. We have left a generous selection of DVD movies and music CDs for all ages as well as some games and boks.

Adjoining the living room, through French doors, is a lovely sun room with a sofa that converts into a bed capable of sleeping two people, giving you space enough to sleep six people.

Leaving the apartment by the sun room, you will enter the shared spacious rear patio garden area where there is a patio table and six chairs and built-in barbeque for your use. On the patio are orange, pomegranate and other fruit trees and a breath-taking view of the mountains that surround this quiet residential development. We have added a brand new washing machine, which is enclosed and covered in the rear patio area, to make your stay even more comfortable.

As part of your rental fee, you will have free access to the "members only" large luxury swimming pool and tennis court right across the street from our front door. We have left in the apartment 4 tennis racquets and tennis balls (2 adult size racquets and 2 juniors’ size) and a good selection of beach toys including beach boards and folding beach chairs.

The swimming club has its own restaurant included on the grounds. There is also the Bar La Parata & El Corlico restaurant that adjoins the swimming pool area. Lykes Bar & Restaurant and a few small shops are within easy walking distance of the apartment and swimming club. The Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful beaches or playa are less than 1 km away by car (less than a 3 minute drive) or by foot (about a 15 minute walk). There are bars and restaurants in abundance all along the beach in this part of Mojacar. The beach or playa itself stretches for 7 km and has the famous "Blue Flag" status.

Bath towels and bed linens are provided with this rental but you should bring your own beach towels with you. Food shopping is very close by and there is an almost unlimited choice of restaurants and bars catering to every type of cuisine that one could desire from Indian and Chinese to authentic British, Irish, Spanish and other national dishes.
