The centre of campoverde is a short walk and has several bars, restaurants, supermarkets, bank etc. There is a small street market on Sunday mornings. On the other side of the village is the famous natural area Rio Seca where you can walk along (the usually dry) bed of river, which has carved a spectacular gorge. Near to Rio Seca there is also a sports area with several tennis courts, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool.
Pinar de Campoverde is an established spanish village set on a wooded hillside only 7 minutes from the sea and the beautiful beach and marina of torre de la horadada.
For those golf lovers La Manga golf course is only a 15 min drive away, other courses close by include: Torre-Pacheco, Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Mosa Trajectum and Campomar.
