This luxury apartment, provides a well furnished and spacious open plan living and dining area that opens out on to a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake, right in the heart of Lagos Marina. The large balcony is ideal for dining, sunbathing or watching the sun go down.

This light, airy apartment is air conditioned with optional heating. Wifi access is also available in the apartment and around the marina.

Perfectly located within 5 minutes walk of the beach, Lagos town, the supermarket and 5 minutes drive to Palmares Golf course.

The village centre hosts a number of quality restaurants, shops and cafes, therefore a hire car is not essential.

The apartment is in a secure complex with underground parking, lift (making it wheelchair accessible) and video entry phone.

The Marina waterfront boasts excellent restaurants and lively bars. It is easy to reach the beach on foot. Alternatively a five minute walk across the marina footbridge will bring you to Lagos town itself. Enclosed within its 5th century walls, Lagos is rich in historical buildings and Moorish architecture. It is packed with a mixture of traditional and modern shops. On the narrow cobbled streets you will find many cafes and restaurants catering for all tastes. With its relaxed atmosphere and quiet charm, Lagos is one of the most appealing locations in the Algarve.

Once the sun goes down, the old town comes alive. You will find open-air stalls, street entertainers and artists displaying their work. Lively bars, jazz clubs and nightclubs stay open until late. There are also open air concerts

Lagos is an ideal base from which to explore the Algarve. There are days out to suit everyone all within a 30 minute drive of Lagos. For the young at heart try the Slide and Splash Park at Lagoa with it's many water slides and chutes. Visit the historic fortress at Cape St Vincent with views of the west coast. Take a drive up into the mountains at Monchique where you can take lunch whilst admiring the views. For shopping - visit the newest centre in Portimao, try the centre at Guia or take the train from Lagos to Lisbon.

From the Marina book a place on the Dolphin Safari and go in search of dolphins and other activities including diving, water skiing, fishing and boat trips around the coastline.

The large sandy beach of Meia Praia is a short walk from the apartment. This beautiful, white sandy beach stretches for 4 miles and remains uncrowded even in the height of Summer. There are several beach bars and restaurants where you can purchase drinks, snacks or sit and enjoy a long lazy lunch or dinner overlooking the sea.

Many other beautiful beaches and picturesque coves with good facilities are just a short drive away.

The exclusive 4* Marina Club Hotel which is only two minutes walk from the apartment, boasts a superb 30m outdoor pool with sun loungers and poolside waiter service, children's pool, restaurant with terrace where you can have breakfast, lunch or snacks, a very attractive raised sun terrace and indoor lounge and bar. You can have all this for 20€ for adults and 10€ for children. For an extra local charge guests can now have access to the Marina Club's spa and gym with plunge pool and can take advantage of some of the wonderful relaxing treatments that are available.

For rentals of six persons (four adults and two children under 12), an additional charge of £40 per week is made.
